TRANSITION FROM NURSERY TO REGULAR GROUP
The 3rd birthday is not a rigid, fixed date for this transition. Some children aspire to the new area earlier, others need a little more time to dare these changes. Now it's time to join the "big ones", expand your own radius and meet new playmates.
We shape the transition fluently. Contacts to the regular groups are already made during the stay in the nursery. The new caregiver is determined at an early stage, so that our educators familiarize themselves with the child in advance. Often the child looks for "its" new caregiver by himself/herself. As far as the general conditions allow, the choice of the child has priority for us.
The educator of the new group picks up the child from the nursery more and more often during the transitional phase and invites him or her to games, activities or breakfast. Most children want to visit the new area more often by then.
